About MCB
MCB Prints started out as a way to transform art projects into something that you can actually use.
I started as an art student many years ago, who always looked for ways to incorporate subtle designs into my everyday life. I took every art assignment in school and elsewhere as an opportunity to add a piece to my decorative collection. Like the stone sculpture "Leaning Man", many of the designs you see came from school assignments that I redirected to find a way to incorporate into the feng shui of my living space.
The art you see on our products has original from a plethora of places across the United States. The prints and photographs were most likely taken on hiking trips, beach sunsets, and drives across the country. The drawings and sculptures were most likely made in all of the time in between being outside with my camera. Every click of a camera, brushstroke, carve of a limestone, or swipe of charcoal on paper was done with intention and inspiration from a life of creativity.
Each design was an art piece first, not targeted for a specific product. The pieces you see at MCB are vehicles to add softness, creativity, and character to your everyday.
This isn't about collecting "stuff" or overloading your walls and homes with decor, but creating a space that feels unique, intentional, and lived in.
The logo and design you see below is my favorite piece (as of 2026, this will most likely change), and a representation of my unique journey through art. It was my first and hopefully not last limestone carving that came from an assignment for a college art class. When I was given the prompt, I had no idea what I was going to do because I had never carved stone before. However, I remembered a painting my partner found on the side of the road once-yes, I know this is bizarre-and decided to recreate it in stone. The painting was of a solemn man in this same leaning position, and that solemn look became inspiration for most of my people-centered pieces in the future.
I hope you know that when an MCB product is in your home, there is a complex story behind it. Furthermore, I hope you give it a new, interesting, bizarre story, and redefine it for you.
